Yes, I am opening this blog up to anyone again. It is a little scary. However, since my posts have been sporadic, I think I have lost any followers I had. This way maybe people will see it. Anyway this is just an announcement post. :)
Justine, I saw your comment at Raising Homemakers. I just wanted to applaud you a little. :) Thank you for standing up against Christian legalism (which I believe you did). I fully agree with you on this: "I do find it interesting how you say there is no higher calling for a woman than to be a wife and mother. Isn’t a woman’s highest calling wherever God is calling her to be?" That's my exact understanding as well.
Thank you Wio. I think if we put God first the rest will fall into place, and this may look different for everyone. That being said, I do believe the husband is the head of the household, and if someday I marry, I will respect my husband as such. I just don't see a reason for adult daughters to stay home doing housework and possibly running a home business if they want to do something else and it works out for them to do it.
